The Face Behind The Brand!
Hey there, beautiful! I’m Shakira Figueroa, the owner of Amplified Beauty. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in South Carolina, I’ve always had a passion for art since I was a little girl. I fell in love with makeup after selling Avon in 2010. In 2014, I joined Salon N'Vee as a (licensed) braider. November 2014 is when I began my journey at Virginia College for Cosmetology.
While in school, I began building my empire as well as my clientele. January 2016 is when I graduated from college as a licensed cosmetologist and began working as a permanent makeup artist at MAC Cosmetics. Being in the industry for 10 years, I’ve educated and provided services within the U.S. and will continue to educate and amplify the beauty of the world, one client at a time.
