The Face Behind The Brand!

Hey there, beautiful! I’m Shakira Figueroa, the owner of Amplified Beauty. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in South Carolina, I’ve always had a passion for art since I was a little girl. I fell in love with makeup after selling Avon in 2010. In 2014, I joined Salon N'Vee as a (licensed) braider. November 2014 is when I began my journey at Virginia College for Cosmetology. 

While in school, I began building my empire as well as my clientele. January 2016 is when I graduated from college as a licensed cosmetologist and began working as a permanent makeup artist at MAC Cosmetics. Being in the industry for 7 going on 8 years, I’ve educated and provided services within the U.S. and will continue to educate and amplify the beauty of the world, one client at a time.
